Parkruns happen every week and are a wholesome way to unite communities all around the world. Even though parkruns are free, it is recommended that you register in advance. You can also have a look on the parkruns website or app to find a run near you anywhere in the UK, and the world, so you can start straight away wherever you are.

Saturday morning events start at 9.30am and are 5km on the following locations:

There are also 2km junior parkruns for your youngsters (aged four to 14), happening every Sunday at 9:30am at:

Post-Run Chill Time

Once you’ve done your run, it’s time to refuel and relax. Belfast has got loads of cool cafes where you can have a lovely chill and relax. Whether you crave a hearty breakfast to refuel or just fancy a nice cup of tea to unwind, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re running solo or with friends, running with others is always a pleasure. It’s all about cheering each other up, sharing stories, and having a laugh.

Before and After Running

Before you head out for your run, remember to stay hydrated, have a light snack if you’re feeling peckish, and give those muscles a good stretch. After your run, take it easy with some more gentle stretches and plenty of water. And don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back – you did it!
